Bioskills Map is a directory of bioskills labs operated by Strong Mountain, Inc. This policy explains what information Bioskills Map collects on bioskillsmap.com, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have.

Information You Provide

• Lab inquiries. When you request availability from a lab, Bioskills Map collects your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), event type, target month, number of attendees, any details you add about stations, specimens or equipment, and the lab page you submitted from.
• Lab listing requests. When you ask to add a lab, Bioskills Map collects the lab name, your name, email and phone number.
• Messages. Anything you send by email to Bioskills Map.

Information Collected Automatically

• Analytics. Bioskills Map uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, such as pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, referring site and approximate location at the city level. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information.
• Server and security logs. The hosting provider records standard log data, such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to keep the site secure and running.
• Essential cookies. WordPress and the inquiry forms set cookies needed for the site to work and to block spam.

How Information Is Used

• To send your inquiry to the lab you contacted so the lab can respond about dates and pricing.
• To reply to your messages and lab listing requests.
• To operate, secure and improve the directory.
• To meet legal obligations.

How Information Is Shared

• With the lab you contact. Submitting an inquiry sends your details to that lab. The lab's own privacy policy governs how it uses them.
• With service providers that host the site, deliver email and provide analytics, including WP Engine and Google. They may use the information only to provide those services.
• When required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of Bioskills Map, its users or others.

Bioskills Map does not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your Choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies are needed for forms to work.
• You can stop Google Analytics from collecting your data with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information Bioskills Map holds about you, to correct it, to delete it and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Bioskills Map will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email privacy@bioskillsmap.com. Bioskills Map may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. You may also use an authorized agent.

Data Retention

Bioskills Map keeps inquiry and listing records only as long as needed to deliver and follow up on your request and for business recordkeeping, then deletes them.

Security

Bioskills Map uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Bioskills Map is intended for medical professionals and industry teams. It is not directed to children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Links to Other Sites

Lab pages may link to lab websites, virtual tours and maps run by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to This Policy

Bioskills Map may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
